ABOUT NIELSON
Paul A. Nielson started his insurance agency in the basement of his home in Plandome, New York in 1912. By 1914, he had an office space at 1 Park Avenue in Manhasset. William Nielson perpetuated Paul A. Nielson & Son until 1994. Since then, Jim Shirley’s team at Nielson & Associates, LTD has carried the Nielson name into the future.
Today, we are a cutting-edge insurance agency focused primarily on commercial lines insurance. Educating our personnel, attempting to be ahead of insurance trends, and concentrating on covering ever-evolving risks and exposures are our challenges every day, month, and year.
